TVS Motor Company has finally got something to cheer! Their most popular gearless scooter – TVS Jupiter 2017 has become the second most selling scooter in India in the current year. It has beaten Hero Maestro Edge, Suzuki Access 125 and Yamaha Fascino to reach this position. However, it still has a long way to go as Honda Activa 4G is still the No.1 selling gearless scooter in India.
In a recent published report for April-September FY18, it can be seen that Honda Motors & Scooter India sold 20,98,354 gearless scooters, while TVS Motors sold 566,362 gearless scooters in the same period. Hero MotoCorp, Yamaha and Suzuki remain at the third, fourth and fifth spot with 443,321 units, 226,249 units and 202,771 units respectively.
